SECURITY DEPOSIT

Capture The Moment Events requires a security bond on all items hired out, which is on top of the hire cost for DIY/Dry Hire and receptions

The security bond will be refunded on return of items.
If any items are damaged or not returned, the security bond will not be refunded

Returning Hired Items 

We appreciate that all items are returned in the same condition in that they are given to you in (boxes, crates, bags etc). This ensures that they stay in perfect condition for all our customers.

Hire Exclusions

Capture the Moment Events does not hire out any of their Arbours or backdrops for DIY/Dry hire.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your 30% non-refundable deposit will not be refunded at any stage. Deposits can no longer be used as credit. Cancellation of a Wedding reception or ceremony 4 months before the date will result in any money paid not being refunded, as this is now to close to the date. We will however give a credit to the same value. We do not refund based on change of mind

DELIVERY, SET UP, PACK DOWN  & LABOUR SERVICES

Delivery is FOC around Wollongong 

Additional charges apply for delivery out of this area. 

Set Up & Pack Down Services are free of charge for ceremonies and picnics. However an access fee may apply depending on location.

Additional charges may apply for receptions and labour depending on how much work is needed in preparing and making items for your event.

3HR NOTICE PERIOD

If a backup location is required to be used due to bad weather, at least 3 hours notice is to be given by the customer.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENT

To book Capture The Moment Events, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit of the total cost. This secures the date and any items you wish to hire. This must be paid within 4 days of receiving the invoice. The remainder is due 14 days before the event. Picnic's are 7 days before.

(If the event is over 12 months away or more, when booking a $100 non-refundable deposit will be taken to secure the date only. Hire items can be discussed closer to the date if needed and other deposit will be taken. ( Deposits will be deducted off the total price - they are not addtional)

MINIMUM SPEND

If you would like to DRY Hire our products there is NO minimum spend. 

 

For free delivery and free set up/pack down services (within Wollongong) there is a minimum spend of $350.

WET WEATHER POLICY

In the event of bad weather, a backup plan is advised. Capture The Moment Events are happy to continue with the ceremony setup at the allocated premises. This is usually at the Reception venue. Weather conditions are outside the control. Capture The Moment Events will do everything we can to use the items indoors, or substitute them for other items. Refunds will not be given as the ceremony items can be moved indoors

EVENT PERMITS

Many outdoor areas  require a permit in order to hold an event on the grounds. It is the clients responsibility to obtain any permits that may be required. A copy of these permits must be supplied to us no later than 14 days before the event. We will not accept responsibility for clients not adhering to permit regulations

 LAWN GAMES 

Lawn games are to be enjoyed by all. Please use these respectfully. Any breakages or lost parts will result in up to a $100- $350 fee per game to be replaced.

MISSING ITEMS & BREAKAGES

Please take care or our Items. You are responsible and liable for any missing items, breakages or damages which you cause to to our contents. Please report as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for small breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repairs/ replacements or making good if the damage is significant.

NO REFUND FOR INDOOR SETUP

In the event of extreme weather conditions preventing you from holding your ceremony at your outdoor location site, we will setup indoors, therefore money will not be refunded.

PICNICS

Picnics require a 30% non-refundable deposit due 4 days from receiving the invoice, to lock the date in. If you cancel the deposit will not be refunded and cannot be use as credit. Final payment is due a week before.

In the event of bad weather, or needing to postpone picnics can be moved to another location indoors or rescheduled to a new date. 

Money will not be refunded for picnics when other suppliers are involved, as suppliers are paid in advance. We try our best to pay suppliers a week out just in case but sometimes this is not possible as items need to be ordered or organised in advanced.
